What are Native IPs, and how should I choose them?

  • Native IP: Provided by local ISP operators, these are 100% locally attributed IPs. They are relatively higher in cost and are recognized by geo-restricted services or games.
  • Broadcast IP: These IPs are not natively attributed to the local region but are allocated to available zones through broadcasting techniques, offering the same network experience as local IPs.

In the IPFoxy platform, Native IPs are marked with a "Pro" label within the Dedicated Static ISP Proxy category. They are recommended for business scenarios that require higher IP purity.

Why does my purchased Dedicated Static Residential IP show as a "Datacenter IP" on detection Website?

This is a normal occurrence and does not indicate that the IP is non-residential. The main reasons are:

  • Detection platform database update delays: IP addresses are allocated and recycled by ISPs, and when reallocated for different services, third-party detection platforms may not update their databases in time. This can result in the IP being labeled with its previous "identity" as a datacenter IP.
  • The core criterion for determining whether an IP is residential is whether it is allocated and managed by a legitimate broadband operator. IPFoxy's Dedicated Static Residential IPs fully comply with this standard.

Why do I get inconsistent IP detection results across different platforms?

Detection platforms use independent, non-public rules and databases, and there is no unified detection standard. Additionally, some platforms may have commercial partnerships that influence their scoring criteria for IPs from different proxy providers.

We cannot guarantee that our IPs will achieve high scores or consistent results across all detection platforms. We recommend evaluating IPs based on their actual performance in your business operations (e.g., success rate, stability) rather than relying solely on scores from specific detection websites.
